A member of parliament in Ukraine is in hot water for telling the truth about the war. Mariana Bezuhla took to her own Facebook page to admit that Ukraine’s military has no plan to win the war against Russia.
“Now the situation is such that if the military leadership cannot provide any plan for 2024, and all their proposals for mobilization boil down to the fact that more people are needed. Without any proposal to change the AFU system, then such leadership should leave,” she wrote.
The only plan that the Ukrainian military has, according to Bezuhla, is to “take at least 20,000 citizens a month.”
This means that the Ukrainian military desperately needs more people due to the staggering loss of life it has and continues to experience. Well, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has a plan for that. Ukraine has hired to private recruitment firms to help scoop up any remaining souls.
Aleksey Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, said that new conscription rules will be announced this week. They will use the new firms to “identify people with specific skills and persuade skilled Ukrainians to enlist and help the military.”
“Some people are scared, scared to die, scared to shoot, but it doesn’t mean they can’t be involved in other activities,” Danilov said.
Wait, what? You can choose to go into combat or take a desk job? How do you think the men who were forced onto the battlefield with no training or weapons feel about that?
