Get Ready for the NATO European Army

NATO is trying to cut the red tape to mobilize a European army by creating what they call a “military Schengen.”

The Schengen area is the European law that allows people and goods to move freely between member states. In a recent article in The Times, NATO’s European logistics chief Lieutenant-General Alexander Sollfrank is advocating that it apply to military equipment and personnel. That means that NATO could take the reigns of an EU army.

This idea is being sold as a preparation to go to war with Russia. Sollfrank said that NATO needs a “military corridor” across Europe and that this could be established by July at the next NATO summit.

Does this seem like a military expansion? Would this fly if they weren’t selling us the possibility of a war with Russia?
