The U.S. knows that the war in Israel is a lost cause that will bring more attacks on Americans, according to a new government assessment. The report also shows that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s days are numbered. This comes from the Annual Threat Assessment from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

“Netanyahu’s viability as leader as well as his governing coalition of far-right and ultra-orthodox parties that pursued hard-line policies on Palestinian and security issues may be in jeopardy,” said the 40-page report.

The report acknowledges that U.S. alignment with Israel will continue to cause conflict with Iran and bring on “continued attacks against U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria.” U.S. intelligence also admits that “Iranian leaders did not orchestrate nor had foreknowledge of the HAMAS attack against Israel.” Someone please notify American politicians who are fear-mongering about Iran then!

Is U.S. intelligence worried that Iran will go nuclear? Not really. The report admits that “Iran is not currently undertaking the key nuclear weapons-development activities necessary to produce a testable nuclear device.”

The report reads like an admission that the U.S. is acting against its own interest in supporting Israel and fostering more conflict with neighboring countries. And yet, that is what is happening.
