American Airlines pilots are raising the alarm on a “significant spike” in safety and maintenance issues, such as tools left in wheel wells and more “collisions on the ground during towing operations, poor record keeping and abbreviated check flights after maintenance.”

American Airlines says that it will meet with the union to look into this. Is this related to Boeing airplane failures or something else?
