TikTok Sues The Government

TikTok is suing the federal government over a recently-passed ban on the social network. They said that they would and they did. Get out the popcorn.

The lawsuit claims that the bill violates the constitutional protection of free speech in the name of national security. We all know that the ban has nothing to do with national security. I’ve got a bridge to sell you if you still believe that.

“For the first time in history, Congress has enacted a law that subjects a single, named speech platform to a permanent, nationwide ban, and bars every American from participating in a unique online community with more than 1 billion people worldwide,” TikTok says it the suit.
