Hey Joe, Let’s Attack A Nuclear Power Plant…

The Telegraph reports that Russia set fire to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant but several other sources say that it was Ukraine who targeted the plant and in fact Ukraine has been doing so for more than a year.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stationed experts at the plant last year when Ukraine started to shell it. They said that plant officials informed them that the “cooling towers was targeted by an alleged Ukrainian drone attack” but the plant is currently not in danger of a nuclear explosion.

Why would Russia hit a nuclear plant in an area that it now controls? This is now Russia after the people in the region voted to join the country. Why hit your own power plant and cause a nuclear fall out to your own people? Ukrainian President Zelensky says that it is to “blackmail” Ukraine. That makes no sense.

Ukraine admitted over the weekend that it is attacking Russia. Zelensky “acknowledged for the first time Ukraine’s US-backed ground incursion into Russia’s Kursk Oblast, which began on August 6.”

Again, we were promised by the Biden administration that this would not happen for whoever is keeping track!
