A new report shows that the U.S. has lost close to 300,000 migrant children. Lost them!
The report comes from the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General. The title says it all: “Management Alert- ICE Cannot Monitor All Unaccompanied Migrant Children Released from DHS and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Custody.”
This is not an issue of misplaced paperwork. These are children that the government knew of and now cannot find. The report warns that these missing children “are considered at higher risk for trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor.”
The Hill says that Republicans are “seizing” on this report as a political talking point. Shouldn’t we ALL seize on this and revolt against it? Come ON!
A whistleblower testified that this is happening in April of 2023 to the House Judiciary Committee and yet nothing has been done.
