Why did 158 Democrats in the House of Representatives vote against H.R.7909, the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act? The bill allows immigrants “who have been convicted of or who have committed sex offenses or domestic violence” to be deported.

Who wouldn’t want that?

The bill passed in the House and is currently being considered in the Senate but given that Democrats in the House don’t support it, why would Democrats in the Senate pass it? And what is their opposition to deporting sex offenders? Why would they want them to stay in our borders? Most countries require clean criminal records for immigration. What is our problem?

Here’s a full list of Democrats who voted against this bill.
