Paul Pelosi’s Magic Timing

Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi reportedly unloaded $500,000 worth of Visa stock just weeks before the company was sued for antitrust by the federal government. That’s lucky timing, right?

By selling just before a major lawsuit, Pelosi saved himself at least 5.5% in losses. This is not the first time he has made trades that coincide with government action. He invested heavily in Nvidia, a Taiwanese microchip company, just before Pelosi announced a major investment in the Taiwanese microchip industry.

The former House Speaker maintains she knows nothing about her husband’s trades but she has always been against legislation to ban lawmakers and their spouses from trading stock.

I’m sure it’s all on the up and up.
