Just minutes before the Biden Administration ended, President Biden released this bombshell pardon for his family members, just hours after he issued preemptive pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mark Milley and the Members of Congress and staff who served on the Select Committee, and the U.S. Capitol and D.C. Metropolitan police officers who testified before the Select Committee.

This is something President Biden had promised he would not do but at this point, his promises are moot.

But why would his family members need pardons? Because they peddled foreign influence for financial gain and we all now know it. Not only did they do that, the FBI “prebunked” it before the 2020 election.

Any why would Dr. Fauci, General Milley and members of Congress need pardons? If you’ve been paying attention, you know this too.

These pardons only apply to federal prosecutions. A state may still decide to investigate any of these people and some reports show that Florida is in fact doing just that to Dr. Fauci.

A pardon would also nullify these people’s ability to plead the Fifth Amendment so if they were subpoenaed, they could still be held liable for some crimes. In theory.

However, President Trump signed an order to end the “weaponization of the Federal Government against the American people.” This could be construed as an out for prosecuting the Bidens for the sake of moving forward. I hope it’s not.
