A Warmonger Wins Re-Election

A court in Europe ruled that the European Commission “did not give the public sufficient information about its agreements to purchase Covid-19 vaccines.”

These agreements, we now know, were brokered by Commission head Ursula von der Leyen, who won re-election today for five more years, God help us. To be clear she was re-elected by European bureaucrats not European citizens. Not only has she been proven to broker back pocket deals, she is unequivocally a warmonger. She will tank the European economy to support any war you put in front of her. She said as much in her victory speech, promising “increased military spending.”

The court ruling on Wednesday was just a hand slap for the European Commission. The governing body said that it would “carefully study the Court’s judgments and their implications.” That’s all the people of Europe get. A mea culpa.

This is similar to what the people of the U.K get. The Covid inquiry concluded that the pandemic was “hampered by ‘groupthink’ and bureaucracy, which health secretaries such as Jeremy Hunt failed to challenge.” This is the inquiry’s first report but hopefully there will be more to dissect not just groupthink and bureaucracy but also arbitrary rules, school closures, vaccine mandates.
