The Secret Service has thwarted another attack on former President Trump. Law enforcement said that the gunman named Ryan Routh was able to use shrubbery as a hide out to great effect. Shrubbery.
The last gunman was on an unsecured rooftop that Secret Service said that they did not monitor because it was too slanted, even though the rooftop was easily walkable.
So… slightly slanted roofs and shrubbery are obstacles to security U.S. politicians. Got it. Doesn’t inspire much confidence, does it?
The gunman was caught while trying to escape the crime scene and is currently in custody. His political affiliations are varied. He supported Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy but has donated to 19 different Democratic causes. He was also an ardent supporter of the war in Ukraine, having reportedly recruited for that war in Kiev.
One odd coincidence is that both he and the previous Trump shooter were both in Blackrock commercials as extras. Blackrock is the company that heavily funds the war in Ukraine. That’s weird, right?
President Trump thanked Secret Service on Truth Social and said that the job done was “ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING.”
