A new study suggests that humans are not responsible for increased CO2 emissions. In fact, climate scientists have not been able to prove that, despite what Barack Obama said on X in 2013.
Obama posted a paper by Cook et.al that “concludes” that 97.1% of the analyzed research papers support human- caused climate change, not 97% of scientists. A more honest look shows that climate scientists agree on very little.
This new study used multiple regression to analyze CO2 emissions since 1960 and found that “human emissions were not a determining factor.” Instead, they say, that atmospheric CO2 “has fluctuated as natural phenomenon, regardless of human activity.”
And yet, nations are spending billions of dollars to re-order society in ways that will have important opportunity costs for ways that we could in fact improve society. This is yet more proof that, as Australian politician Craig Kelly put it, “the climate change movement is a brainwashed cult, held together by a strongly held quasi religious belief, not to mention the grifters making millions from perpetuating the alarmism.”
