Are women having a hard time breaking into the construction industry? Maine Governor Mills says so. She signed a bill into law that will incentivize companies to hire more female construction workers.

In a statement, she says that “women currently make up 15 percent of Maine’s construction industry and only 11 percent of the industry nationally.”

Is this a glass ceiling or a natural selection of jobs by gender due to the sexed body?
