According to Hersh, Obama worked with "The Big Three" to threaten Biden with the 25th Amendment if he did not "voluntarily" step down from his campaign and appoint Vice President Kamala Harris to run instead. The Big Three are: former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
Hersh reports: "The official, who has decades of experience in fundraising, told me that Obama emerged as the strongman throughout the negotiations. 'He had an agenda and he wanted to seek it through to the end, and he wanted to have control over who would be elected.'"
Hersh was not able to confirm if Harris herself was in on it. He did note that the officials are worried about Harris because "she is known not to be especially interested in the President’s Daily Brief, a highly classified summary of current intelligence that is prepared overnight by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and delivered by hand to the most vital offices in Washington, including the vice president’s…. I was told that Harris often showed little interest in reading the document and at some point asked the agency to stop delivering it to her. Now, as a presidential candidate, she is being kept up to date on all significant intelligence matters."

President Biden will speak about Civil Rights today, a speech that was delayed in the wake of the attempted assissination of President Trump. Meanwhile, the Kamala Harris campaign held a Zoom meeting for 160,000 white women to instruct one another on how to be allies for BIPOC people without displaying white privilege.
All of these white people speaking for people of color as allies. It's so great because they can't be expected to speak for themselves or hear anything challenging because they're delicate flowers, right?
Not really. This is neo-racism. It is treating white people a specific way because of their skin color, which is racist, and treating people of color as less than because of pity. It is racism disguised as compassion.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb has said that there are no direct threats to Finland from this strike but that the country has to "accept the fact that" the war will come to Finland.
So…they struck Russia and are telling their people to expect Russia to strike them? Who would fall for that logic?
Russia also suffered massive losses in Mali after al Qaeda-affiliated group hit Wagner forces. The Malian military also suffered casualties. The Wall Street Journal reports that at least two were dead and 10 wounded, "while some 20 attackers were killed."
The attack happened on the border between Mali and Algeria and now there are reports that Ukrainian drone pilots assisted the terrorists.

Organizers of the Paris Olypmpics have apologized for the offense caused by the Opening Ceremony. Videos of the full ceremony have been removed and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has been busy claiming copyright violations to have videos and images removed.
The recreation of the Last Supper of Jesus with obese, queer and scandily clad characters was especially offensive to Christians and non-Christians alike. Why sexualize the last supper? Even Iranian leaders – non-Christians! – said that it was an "insulting representation of Jesus Christ [and] completely offensive and crossed all red lines."
The IOC apology was not really an apology. They apologized IF people were offended. Not for the offense. Anne Descamps, an Olympic spokesperson said this: "Clearly there was never an intention to show disrespect to any religious group. [The opening ceremony] tried to celebrate community tolerance…We believe this ambition was achieved. If people have taken any offence we are really sorry.”
Which means that they really aren't sorry.
Nor are they sorry that athletes are escaping the Olympic village due to the green policies that have made their competition hell. The village does not have air conditioning so the American team brought their own. The athletes were given cardboard beds so many athletes booked hotels. And they are running out of food because they tried to offer a 1/3 plant-based menu and the athletes don't want that.
In short: The Paris Olympics are a joke and an insult to athletes who work their entire lives to compete for their country.
France will get a chance to embarrass themselves again in 2030 because the country was awarded the Winter Games in the French Alps.
