A new trend has moms taking "microdoses" of magic mushrooms to cope with the stress of motherhood because they think motherhood is giving them PTSD. A reminder that PTSD is a diagnosis specifically related to Vietnam vets. Motherhood is hard but it is not like watching people die horrific deaths in needless wars. Maybe we should reframe that language, huh?

NATO propaganda is at an 11. This new video would have you believe that NATO is a peaceful and defensive organization only. Lol.
President Biden was able to deliver a speech to NATO on Tuesday. It was full of lies but at least he was able to complete it. That's the standard now.
The President's speech was pretty much all about Ukraine. He pledged a "historic donation of air defense equipment from the U.S., Germany, The Netherlands, Romania and Italy." He also pledged five additional strategic air defense systems, dozens of additional tactical air defense systems, and promised that when the U.S. exports defense systems, Ukraine will be at the front of the line.
The President said that Ukraine is winning this war. LOL. They are not. He said that Russia wants to wipe Ukraine off the map. They do not. He said that Russia has lost more than 350,000-hundred (sic) troops, which is about the full total of soldiers that Russia has sent so that also cannot be true.
"NATO remains the bulwark of global security," the President said. "An overwhelming bipartisan majority of Americans understand that NATO makes us all safer…. The American people know that all the progress we've made in the past 75 years has happened behind the shield of NATO."
Well that is a generous assessment but a recent poll does show that Americans support NATO participation. Maybe because they have not studied the conflicts enough?
The President concluded his speech by awarding NATO head Jens Stoltenberg the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Israel now controls at least a quarter of Gaza and is working to move "settlers" into the region, according to Haaretz. By settlers, they mean permanent residents that will take over that region.
Hamas has demanded that Israel leave Gaza in peace negotiations, but it is clear that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has no intention of doing that. Nor does he intend to end military presence in Gaza.
A senior official says that Netanyahu is trying to "ensure a deal isn’t reached before his address to the US Congress in Washington later this month." Why would he do this? To drum up continued support of the Israeli government? It's not a sure thing as politicians are divided over support for Israel, more so than support for Ukraine. And will Americans want to keep opening their wallets after their $230 million Gaza pier investment went bust?
Meanwhile, Israel will now begin drafting Orthodox Jews into the IDF. Orthodox Judaism is staunchly antiwar but the IDF apparently doesn't care. This is a chilling precedent for what is supposedly a democratic state in the Middle East. It means that even if you don't believe in war, you must go to war. Is this religious freedom?

Biden: Sure Let's Let Illegals Vote In Our Elections
President Biden says that he opposes a bill to prevent noncitizens from voting, H.R. 8281, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act.
In a statement published by House Speaker Mike Johnson, the President says that it is "already illegal for noncitizens to vote in Federal elections" so the "justification for this bill is based on easily disproven falsehoods." He also says that the bill will make it harder for Americans to register to vote.
Speaker Johnson said that "it should alarm every American citizen that the sitting President of the United States, who has opened our border to over 9 million illegals, just announced that he would veto our bill to prevent noncitizens from voting."
It alarms me more that Speaker Johnson passed the President's spending bill to aid Ukraine instead of insisting on border security funds instead. Further proof that they are a uniparty.
What happens when you show the world that you will seize assets of other countries for political reasons? Well, other countries don't trust you to hold their money, that's what happens.
According to Bloomberg, Saudi Arabia warned that it could sell off European holdings if the G7 countries seize nearly $300 billion in frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine, as they have said that they will. This is theft and it is immoral but also, it degrades international trust and will motivate the global community to put its money elsewhere. If China, Indonesia and other countries do this, it will further weaken the Euro.
Saudi Arabia said that it did not make these threats and that threats are not their style. Bloomberg's reports were from "people familiar with the matter" and their private hints.
Europe has grappled with what to do with Russian holdings, but this spring, it decided not to seize the assets outright but instead "tap the profits." That's still stealing.
News By The Numbers
Five years. That is the prison time that Switzerland says it will impose on anyone who uses the Sarco suicide machine. The death capsule has been called the Tesla of euthanasia, but it was banned just weeks before it was set to be rolled out. So you'll get five years in prison after you commit suicide? Hmmm.
22 years. That is how long ago a California man went missing while hiking in Peru after being trapped in an avalanche. He was found recently perfectly preserved in ice.
180. That is how many firefighters it took to contain a massive chemical factory fire in Australia. The firefighters say that it will take several days to have this fire fully extinguished due to all the chemicals that are still burning.
