Starbucks launched a Starbucks for Life contest. Probably not a good idea. Remember Kramer from Seinfeld?

Lead: Israel Launches Its Biggest Propaganda Push Ever
Israel’s Knesset has approved an enormous public-relations campaign worth approximately $729 million, which is nearly five times what the country allocated for public diplomacy last year.
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced the initiative as a major component of national security, saying the money would be used “for the battle for public awareness and the promotion of Israel’s image worldwide.”
Will it help? No matter what Israel does, the world refuses to forget the total destruction of Gaza because most of us are still human.
Last week, Israel held a summit for American Christian pastors, training them to be “Ambassadors for Israel.” The backlash has been fierce from Christians who believe the Church should not pledge loyalty to any worldly government. There are now calls for a list of the participating pastors, which X users say they are compiling.
Meanwhile, Newsmax is running daily “Israel Updates,” highlighting “Israeli accomplishments.” Notice the comments are turned off?
In September, DropSite reported on a publicity report that was commissioned by Israel. Israel was studying tactics to rehabilitate its image and the report concluded that there was not much Israel could do to recover its image. The only possible way to help Israel’s reputation was, according to the report, to distract the public with Islamophobia (or “foment fear of ‘Radical Islam’ and ‘Jihadism.”)
So is this massive new budget meant to fund exactly that strategy? If so, be prepared for a barrage of anti-Islam rhetoric to accompany the pro-Israel messaging.
Will it work?
Zelensky And His War Cheerleaders
Photo credit: No 10 Downing Street
President Zelensky returned to Europe to meet once again with the same political incompetents who keep encouraging him to drag the war out indefinitely.
There is no real reason for him to keep making these European tours. Every time he does, we get highly edited videos of him hugging Western politicians, exchanging staged “solidarity” sound bites, and reaffirming their commitment to endless war. It’s a shameful show of performative idiocy.
Zelensky also dismissed President Trump’s suggestion that Ukraine should cede the territory it has already lost to Russia. Surrounded and emboldened by his feeble Western cheerleaders, he insists he won’t consider it.
“The Americans are in the mood to find compromises. But there are clearly difficult issues regarding territory and no compromise has been reached there,” he told journalists. “Russia is, of course, insisting that we give up territories. We, naturally, don’t want to do that and that’s what we’re fighting for.”
But it’s not just Russia that wants these regions. The people who live there have been asking for alignment with Russia for over a decade and, in fact, voted in a referendum in 2022 to join Russia. Whether Western leaders like the outcome or not, the sentiment of the population is clear and has been for years.
But sure, keep doing the military cosplay tour while people die. That’s also a plan.
