Happy Wednesday.

In Case You Missed It.

🦠 The latest Covid variant on the rise is called NJ.1. It now accounts for at least 20% of cases in the U.S. but there is “no evidence that it causes more severe illness.”

🤦🏻‍♂️ The United Nations adopted a resolution to STOP glorifying Nazism in a 118-49 vote. The resolution was drafted by Russia and was opposed by the US, UK, Canada, France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Japan, as well as Ukraine, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania and a handful of others.

The Lead: Stopping Trump

credit: sabgb

It sure seems like the U.S. want a civil war, doesn’t it? The Supreme Court in Colorado has ruled that former President Trump cannot be included on the ballot in the 2024 election but there is a BIG “but” here…

The court issued the ruling and in the same ruling stayed its own ruling pending an appeal to the Supreme Court. Which we can be about 99% sure will happen. So it’s an order that is not intended to be put into place?

This is a truly baffling move by a judicial body. The justices admit that they are in “uncharted territory, and that this case presents several issues of first impression.” Ya think!?

Lawyer and YouTuber Viva Frei calls this an attempt to get part of the population to do something stupid. He says that “If you can't win with reason, baffle them with bullshit.” It’s hard to see it as anything else.

The Colorado Republican Party says that it will “withdraw from the Primary as a Party and convert to a pure caucus system if this is allowed to stand.”

Suing Over Covid Lockdowns

credit: new yorker

Parents in the U.K. could sue the government for £145 million for ignoring the impact of “draconian lockdowns” on children.

This comes from a parents group called Us For Them. They claim that the government’s Covid Inquiry which deemed lockdowns “necessary, proportionate and justified' did not account for the demonstrable harm to children. They demand that this be investigated and quantified and threaten to litigate for it to happen if necessary.

The group published this letter to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. They say that the inquiry has been done with predetermined conclusions and because of this, “we each hold serious concerns about the conduct of the Inquiry to date and believe the Inquiry’s approach is now damaging public confidence in its proceedings and by extension in any recommendations which might ultimately be made.”

Here is one example of the types of research not included in the inquiry but which absolutely SHOULD be. New research in the British Medical Journal shows that masks did nothing to help protect children during the pandemic and that there is no medical basis to "support masking children for protection against COVID-19.”

So why did we do that? And how did it hurt them? A serious inquiry would take that into account, right?

The CIA Will Have Its Day In Court

credit: getty

A judge in New York ruled that a case against the CIA for spying on associates of Julian Assange can go forward. This means that the CIA will have to defend itself for spying on lawyers who met with Julian Assange while he was in the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

The CIA tried to have this case dismissed and the judge ruled that there is “sufficient allegations that the CIA…violated [the plaintiffs’] reasonable expectation of privacy.” The CIA will now have to defend its campaign against Assange, led by Mike Pompeo who was CIA director at the time.

Another update on the Assange case: A date for his next and possibly final appeal to the UK court to fight against extradition to the United States has been set for February 20. This may be his Hail Mary.

He has been fighting extradition to the United States, claiming that he will NOT get a fair trail or be treated with any dignity. Because to be sure, he has NOT thus far since his persecution began in 2010.

Julian Assange has been indicted by the U.S. government using the Espionage Act for the simple act of journalism after he published documents showing that the U.S. and the U.K. wage war, commit war crimes and profit from it.

bipartisan resolution in Congress supports freeing Julian Assange. It is not a law. It is a plea to the Biden administration to protect the First Amendment and “drop all charges against and attempts to extradite Julian Assange."

If you are a UK voter, you can contact your MP or petition the House of Commons. Go to freeassange.org to learn more. If you are a U.S. voter, you can demand that your representatives support House Resolution 934. DEMAND it! If Julian Assange is not free, none of us are.

Bill Gates Is Not Happy About This…

credit: brittanica

A judge ruled that at least 180 more names will be named from Jeffrey Epstein’s client list. Prince Andrew is expected to be among them.

The list is expected to include associates, victims, investigators and journalists who covered the case. And perhaps Bill Gates? A 2014 photo of Gates with an Epstein accuser was released this week. This calls into question Gates’ assertions that he only met with Epstein for philanthropic purposes.

This new release of evidence comes from an Epstein accuser named Johanna Sjoberg. She claims that Prince Andrew touched her breast in 2001 at Epstein’s apartment. This is part of the 2015 case that another Epstein accuser Virginia Guiffre filed for defamation. 2015! She’s been fighting this for eight years!

Guiffre said this on X about the revelation: “There’s going to be a lot of nervous ppl over Christmas and New Years, 170 to be exact, who’s on the naughty list? This would t be possible without the Honourable Judge Preska.”

People on this list have until January 1 to appeal to keep their names sealed. The list will be made public in January.
