Happy Wednesday.

Nice try! Someone posted a fake sign declaring a Chicago beach a nude beach when it isn’t. City officials say that they've removed the sign so please don't remove all of your clothes if you visit the beach.

Lead: Covid Creep

credit: fda

Are we experiencing Covid creep? Rising Covid cases have brought back things we didn't think we'd see again: Masking, social distancing, isolating and remote learning.

Is this Groundhog Day?

First Lady Jill Biden has been diagnosed with Covid and the White House says that President Biden will now isolate, distance and wear a mask. These things are no longer required but the CDC does still suggest them.

Recent research on masks have shown that they are laden with harmful compounds and do not actually prevent the spread of Covid. When asked about this over the weekend, Dr. Fauci shrugged it off by saying that there are studies that show that masks can be effective. He did not bring along those studies as proof.

Elon Musk Takes on the ADL

credit: fox

Elon Musk says that the Anti-Defamation League may be in for the lawsuit of its life. He claims that the ADL has been actively discouraging advertisers from advertising on Twitter, taking away nearly half of the company's ad share.

How are they doing that?

With unscientific research about hate speech on Twitter that the media has been more than happy to run with.

Musk says that the ADL is actively working to thwart advertising revenue to the tune of billions. The ADL has settled suits like this before for millions. Could this be an expensive warning for organizations that want to silence voices?

We discussed this on Redacted on Tuesday and pointed out how Elon Musk may be opposing a globalist agenda but he’s not a perfect hero. He may just be a controlled opposition.

New Data Shows Inflation Just Went Up, NOT Down

ghostbed

New data out this month shows inflation is going up, not down. Despite what the Biden administration just said. Time to move out of greenbacks!

Bank of America expects gold to hit $3,000 an ounce, and America's largest precious metals company Lear Capital is giving away one ounce of silver for every ounce of gold you buy! They're also giving you $250 in your account. That's free money.

So as the U.S. dollar continues to face massive inflationary pressure, investors have been pouring back into precious metals. If you have your retirement in a dollar format, then it will continue to lose value every day that it's there in a bank. It's time to move some of your retirement into gold and silver and away from government currencies.

Gold and Silver have sustained for over 4,000 years while every government currency in world history has collapsed. Every one of them. Will this time be any different? Of course not.

Right now, you can get a FREE gold kit and learn how gold and silver can help you protect your family against these central banks. Visit LearRedacted.com right now to get your TOTALLY FREE Gold Kit and start taking action today.

Ukraine Wants NATO To Take Things To The Next Level

Ukraine claimed that Russia attacked Romania with drones, in a clear effort to get NATO countries to join the war. Romania says: No they didn’t

Ukraine tried this last year when they claimed that Russia had attacked Poland with a drone strike. That drone strike turned out to have been launched by Ukraine.

This is a dangerous game of false flag escalation. Thankfully it isn’t working but you would think it would cool Western support to Ukraine. It hasn’t.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Kyiv today. He is expected to announce an additional $1 billion in U.S. military aid to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has ousted defense minister Aleksey Reznikov. He had already tendered his resignation. Critics say that he was one of the main drivers of corruption inside Ukraine. Clearly it goes way deeper than just one person. Before the war, it was widely agreed that Ukraine is the most corrupt nation in Europe. Let's not pretend this is a one-off, shall we?

News By The Numbers

$140,000. That is the starting price for the new Toyota Century, the company’s luxury car. It has been sold in Japan since 1967 but the company says that it will sell it around the world now because it thinks the world is ready.

47. That is how many Grand Slam semi-finals Novak Djokovic has qualified for after his advancement on Tuesday in the U.S. Open. He will face first-time Grand Slam semi-finalist Ben Shelton, the youngest player to reach a semi-final in 31 years. He is only 20.

2. That is how many people were arrested for making a hole in the Great Wall of China. They reportedly did that to carve themselves a shortcut on their commute to work.

What's Trending?

Mitch McConnell is trending on news that his doctor says he did not have a stroke when he froze up in public for the second time. The strange news release says that he did not show any abnormalities so, carry on, nothing to see here.

Woody Allen is trending because he premiered his 50th movie at the Venice Film Festival on Monday and said he has had a “very, very lucky life.”

Hurricane Lee is trending because Tropical Storm Lee is expected to upgrade to a hurricane by the weekend.

Government Shutdown: The Sequel

credit: roll call

The U.S. is again facing a government shutdown at the end of September. Lawmakers are returning to Washington to debate another short-term funding bill. They are calling this a “continuing resolution” because it is by no means a permanent solution.

If no resolution is made, the U.S. will run out of money on September 30. Yet U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is expected to commit another $1 billion of aid to Ukraine today.

Consumers are feeling the effects of politics. Gas prices are at their highest seasonal level in more than a decade with an average of $3.811 per gallon. This was a reaction to Saudi Arabia and Russia extending the OPEC+ production cuts in order to avoid flooding the market with cheap gas.

The last time gas prices were this high was September 2012.

Europe is also facing a gas crisis due to threat of strikes in Australia. Australia is the number one exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG). Chevron is trying to avoid a workers strike in those plants, which is scheduled for Thursday. If they don’t reach a deal, they face a two-week strike. This would disrupt the gas market around the world and send prices up just as winter is coming.
