Lead: Too Big to Rig

It’s curtains for the Democrats in all three branches of legislative government. Democrats lost the Presidency, lost the majority in the House of Representatives and lost the majority in the Senate. The results are, as President Trump had hoped: too big to rig.

Democrats are focused on blaming racial groups today. It’s the Black male vote, it’s the Hispanic vote, it’s the Muslim vote…. It’s racial prejudice, it’s sexism. They can’t seem to zero in on what most likely IT is: the issues.

The economy, the southern border, the escalation of foreign wars.

We here at Redacted are independents. Do we think Republicans have the answers? No. But the warmongering Democrats deserved this loss. As I put it on X: “Democrats deserve to lose for lying about the war in Ukraine and dragging innocent men to their death, for putting Obama on stage who droned children in the Middle East and armed Al-Qaeda, for enabling criminals to prey on the minorities that they claim to support, for losing >300,000 children at the Southern Border and not caring that they’re being trafficked and for daring to speak of drafting my kids to a war based on your utter lies. That’s why you lost this Mama Bear. Come for my kids and find out. 🖕🏼”

But Republicans had better fulfill those promises of ending wars, removing fluoride from the water, tax reform, ending child trafficking and closing the Southern Border! We’ll be watching!

What Will Russia Do?

Russia has not extended a congratulation to President Elect Donald Trump. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov explained it thus:

“I still know nothing about Putin’s intention to congratulate Trump….I suggest remembering that we are talking about an election that took place in a country that is unfriendly to us and in a country that is involved in the conflict over Ukraine.”

But could relations with Russia now be reset given that the Biden Administration’s nonstop lies and escalation with Russia will have to end when the Democrats leave office?

Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund and a senior figure in Russia’s political elite, said this according to the New York Post: “[Republicans] convincing victory shows that ordinary Americans are tired of the unprecedented lies, incompetence, and malice of the Biden administration… This opens up new opportunities for resetting relations between Russia and the United States.”

Ukrainian President Zelensky has congratulated President Elect Trump. He says that he “[appreciates] President Trump’s commitment to the ‘peace through strength’ approach in global affairs.” He then grubbed for another invitation to the U.S., saying “I am looking forward to personally congratulating President Trump and discussing ways to strengthen Ukraine’s strategic partnership with the United States.”

President Trump promised to end funding for Ukraine. Hopefully that promise is kept and Zelensky gets that message if indeed he comes to hear it in person.

News By The Numbers

$74,418.48. That is the price of ONE Bitcoin as of this writing. BTC surged as it became clear that Donald Trump would win the Presidency because Trump has said that he is keen for the U.S. Treasury to stockpile Bitcoin.

Nov. 6. That is the day that Will Byers goes missing in the show Stranger Things. That is why the show released a teaser trailer today for the next season, which will premiere in 2025.

$5 million. That is the prize money that tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, 21, won at the WTA Tour Finals.

Nuclear Tests on Election Day?

Election Day is an odd today for nuclear tests, don’t you think? The Air Force doesn’t think so.

The US Air Force Global Strike Command said in a statement that it conducted “routine” practice with a nuclear intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.

“The ICBM’s reentry vehicle traveled approximately 4,200 miles to the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command’s Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site located within Republic of the Marshall Islands at the Kwajalein Atoll.”

The statement says that this is “part of routine and periodic activities intended to demonstrate that the United States’ nuclear deterrent is safe, secure, reliable and effective to deter 21st century threats and reassure our allies.  Such tests have occurred over 300 times before, and this test is not the result of current world events.”

 Israel Turns On Its Own

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant was fired for suggesting that Israel make “painful concessions” to reach a hostage deal with Hamas. That’s a no-go for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu so he announced Gallant’s firing.

“Unfortunately, over the past months, the trust between me and the minister of defense has been broken. There were significant gaps regarding the management of the [military] campaign, and these gaps were accompanied by statements and actions that contradicted the decisions of the government and of the Cabinet,” Netanyahu’s office said in a statement.

This move was denounced by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum. They say that it is an obvious effort to torpedo any chance of a hostage deal.

Gallant has been Netanyahu’s most useful servant in the war in Gaza. Imagine that after all of that, he loses his job at the mere suggestion of a peace deal.

What’s Trending?

Disneyland Candy Canes are trending because Disneyland released a schedule of when you can buy them. Apparently they are too popular to just put on the shelves without a schedule.

The View is trending because people want to tune in to watch these ladies absolutely lose it over the election results that they tried so damn hard to prevent. Classic example of schadenfreude. It has already begun.

Chauncy Glover is trending because the Los Angeles CBS News anchorman died at the age of 39 for as-yet-unreported reasons.
