Lead: Americans Being Sent To Middle East
The U.S. is sending more troops to the Middle East to prepare for a war to support Israel. The Oregon National Guard will send 230 guardsmen to Iraq and Syria, according to reports.
According to Antiwar.com, âthe US has about 2,500 troops in Iraq and 900 troops occupying eastern Syria. The Oregon guardsmen are likely being sent out on a regular rotational deployment, but the move comes as the US beefs up its presence in the region.â
Why is the U.S. ramping up presence in the region?
To protect Israel from retaliation. Congress has not declared war but the military continues to prepare for one. The Defend the Guard Act would prevent the National Guard in any state from being deployed without a declaration of war but the Act has not become law in any state yet. You can support it in your state by visiting this site because no one should be sent to a war that is decided on by war hawks and is not in anyoneâs best interest.
Trump and Elon Break The Internet

Elon Musk says that he would love to advise on a government board that controls government spending if President Trump is re-elected. President Trumpâs response: âLove it. I would love it.â
If anyone succeeds and reigning in government spending, weâd love it too!
In a Live X Spaces conversation, Musk discussed how inflation is caused by government spending, which must be reigned in. He says that this should not be controversial, and he is quite correct.
Musk hosted the two-plus-hour conversation with the Republican candidate, which earned more than 1 billion listens. During the event, Musk was unequivocal about his support for Trump, saying, âYou are the way to prosperity and Kamala is not.â
Still, Musk has extended the invitation to do a live X Spaces conversation to Vice President Harris. That is not likely because neither Harris nor her running mate Tim Walz have done unscripted interviews with the press since announcing their candidacy.

Lifetime Fitness Boycott

Customers are canceling their Lifetime Fitness membership after a trans-identified man insisted on using the menâs locker room at a gym in Missouri. After customers complained, women were scolded about calling the man a man.
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has notified Lifetime that it was under investigation for criminal and civil liability and Lifetime has since canceled the membership of this man.
The man took to X to âreportâ about what it was like to use the womenâs locker room. That in and of itself is a violation. A womenâs locker room is not a place to report from. It is a place of privacy. He later complained that getting kicked out of the locker room was hateful. When his membership was canceled, police escorted him out and again he complained about that.
This man was living as a man until just April and he regularly posts about kink and other sexual exploits. He reportedly still intends to have his ID changed to legally recognize him as a woman so he can get back in that locker room.
You would think Lifetime Fitness would have learned from the Planet Fitness boycott earlier this year. The CEO of Planet Fitness admitted a significant drop in revenue in May after members cancelled their memberships to protest a man in the womanâs locker room. The man was reported by another woman and the company responded by canceling the womanâs membership for complaining.

UKâs New Education Indoctrination
Schools in England will begin to âeducateâ students on how to spot âextremismâ in the aftermath of recent riots. The riots were in response to peopleâs anger at young girls being killed at a dance class but the government says that the rioters spread anti-immigration rhetoric and that it needs to teach children how to reject that.
According to The Telegraph, âschools will use lessons such as English, ICT (information and communication technology) and maths to âarmâ pupils against âputrid conspiracy theories, the Education Secretary has said. Bridget Phillipson told The Telegraph that pupils as young as five would be given the critical thinking skills to identify misinformation online under the new plans.â
Yes, the British government is so good at distinguishing âmisinformation.â It proved that during the Covid pandemic, didnât it? Thatâs sarcasm. This is Orwellian government propaganda drip fed through public education. Itâs bollocks, thatâs what it is.
