Happy Monday

Arizona is trying to pass a bill to allow street food vendors like your local tamale lady to operate with minor licensing requirements and less risk of fines. The bill was vetoed last year by Governor Katie Hobbs. Why does she hate tamales?

In Case You Missed It.

🗳️ Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has withdrawn from the Presidential race and endorsed Donald Trump. This is the biggest smile we've seen on him in months. He didn't seem to enjoy running for president. Can't blame him.

🇵🇸 China has endorsed United Nations membership for Palestine.

❄️ Traces of cocaine were found in the Swedish parliament. I know, you're shocked.

🚜 Farmers in France have joined in the protest movement, lining roads with farming equipment to tell their government that they've had enough with high taxes and regulations.

🪧 A protest in New York City is the subject of debate. Is Patriot Front a white supremacist group? Are they the only white supremacists that cover their faces and keep them covered during arrests? What do you think of this hot take

🇷🇴 Ukraine says that Romanian farmers are blocking borders to protest subsidies to Ukraine that are hurting their business.

🇮🇱 Israel targeted Iranian officials with a bombing in Syria.

🇯🇵 Japan landed an unmanned craft on the moon.

Lead: Ukraine Launches Attack On Civilian Market

Ukraine launched another devastating attack on civilians in the annexed city of Donetsk using American-made weapons. At least 25 people were killed and at least 20 others wounded in the attack on a crowded marketplace on a Sunday morning.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said this about the attack: “This again confirms [the West’s] direct involvement in the conflict and makes it complicit in the criminal acts of the Zelensky regime, which has once again displayed its inhumanity and hatred towards innocent people."

This comes as Ukraine is increasingly desperate to keep selling its war to the West. The New York Post says that Ukrainian President Zelensky "came up empty" at the World Economic Forum last week and was given a chilly reception, even by the private investors that once had their eyes on "rebuilding Ukraine."

Without Western backing, Ukraine is once again free to fight dirty, attacking civilians since they cannot make headway by attacking the Russian military.

Don't Call It A War

We're not at war with Yemen. We just enjoy bombing them so we're going to keep doing that.

This is what the Pentagon said when it confirmed the seventh round of bombing in two weeks on Houthi targets this weekend.

Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh said this about bombs being an indication of war: “We don’t think that we are at war. We don’t want to see a regional war. The Houthis are the ones that continue to launch cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles at innocent mariners, at commercial vessels that are just transiting an area that sees, you know, 10 to 15 percent of world’s commerce.”

The Houthis say that they will stop this when Israel ceases its attacks on Gaza. So why does the U.S. have to get involved? It's not without consequences.

According to Antiwar, "the Yemeni people have rallied around the Houthis, and the group has stepped up strikes on American-linked shipping in the Red Sea."

It's not war. It's like war foreplay. Is that better?

Climate Deniers are now New Deniers

Climate change promoters want to shut down dissent that they call "Climate Hate." This is a new one that they are calling “New Denial.”

Climate Deniers are so yesterday. New Deniers are the new enemy.

Actor Mark Ruffalo has long been a promoter of climate doom. He says that big oil is asking people to go after "the solutions we need to transition to a safer future like renewable energy and electric vehicles." That means that anyone (like us here at Redacted) who question those things are magic solutions is guilty of "climate hate."

So if you say that wind farms kill whales – which they do – and require gas-powered back ups because they're so unreliable – which they are – you're a New Denier.

This comes from a report by the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), the same organization that X/Twitter is suing for trying to lead advertisers away from the platform due to "false and misleading claims" about hate speech. And guess who is guilty of New Denial, according to their report? Redacted.

Ruffalo says that Big Oil is funding those guilty of New Denial. We here at Redacted are not funded by Big Oil so that’s a lie. But while we’re at it, we may as well bring you a little more New Denial.

A U.K. research group admits that it did not have reliable data to claim that the U.K. could survive on wind power. The Climate Change Committee only used one year of wind data to extrapolate that the country could rely on wind.

Sir Chris Llewellyn Smith led this study. The Telegraph reports that he wrote this about it in a presentation: “They have conceded privately that that was a mistake.”

And yet this presentation was the basis of recommending a net zero target. It highlights two things: 1. Wind is an unreliable source of energy and 2. Climate scientists are able to get away with far lower standards due to ideology.

Golf Gives Women The Shaft

A man won a women's golf tournament in Florida this weekend under the auspices that he is a woman. He is now one step closer to competing on the Women's LPGA tour.

Trans person Hailey Davidson won the tournament because the league allows him to play as a woman after gender assignment surgery and almost 6 years of cross sex hormones. He said that this has weakened him enough to make it fair because all of that surgery took 15 miles per hour off of his "club head speed."

Well should a man have to weaken himself to play with women or should women just have their own category and trans people their own?

The Collegiate Water Polo Association doesn't think so. They released new rules that allows men to self-identify as females in order to compete in the women's league. The only requirements is a letter from a doctor and minimum threshold of testosterone levels.

News By The Numbers

5.5 million. That is how many times this video has been watched where American teacher Kevin Roberts tells fellow panelists at the World Economic Forum that globalists are part of the problem and not the solution. I'm surprised they didn't cut his microphone.

15 feet. That is the distance that two men fell when a grand entrance to a company party turned fatal. The CEO of Vistex died from the accident and the other man is in critical condition. The video is upsetting so warning before you click.

4.09 million. That is how many existing homes were sold in 2023, the lowest level since 1995, according to the National Association of Realtors

What's Trending?

This video is trending of a heckler yelling “get vaccinated" at Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open. He ignores the heckler and hits a game-winning ace.

Sports Illustrated is trending because the publication announced that it will have to conduct layoffs amid slumping sales and an inability to pay its debts.

Alec Baldwin is trending because he was charged again for the murders on the set of his film in 2021. He was charged last year but those charges were dropped.
