Happy Tuesday

We have a war going on but President Trump says that he is prepared to go to the White House Correspondents Dinner now that the press is being friendly to him. Of course they are! War is good business for them so now they're on his side! I'm sure we'll all enjoy that as our currency value and global reputation plummets!

Lead: Forever War, No Objective

The White House provided this graphic to lay out the goals of the current war with Iran but also stated in a letter to Congress that "it is not possible at this time to know the full scope and duration of military operations that may be necessary."

Translation: A new forever war. Despite promising that a war with Iran would be "easily won" just a few weeks ago.

At least six American soldiers have been killed and U.S. officials are finally admitting that the U.S. struck Iran because they knew that Israel was going to do it anyway. At least we all can admit that the war is happening at the will of Israel.

Tucker Carlson reports that Mossad agents were arrested for plotting bombing campaigns by officials in Saudi Arabia and Qatar over the weekend so who exactly is bombing U.S. allies? We can't know yet but it is increasingly apparent that the U.S. is not at the wheel here. President Trump doesn't help this perception by excitedly announcing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's appearance on Fox News.

So while the war propaganda rolls on, how will the U.S. fair in this war, alongside a partner that plays dirty? Israel struck civilian areas inside of Tehran on Monday in what civilians are describing as a Double Tap strike. This means that they strike in an area and then strike again when rescue workers come in. It's a war crime.

On Monday evening, Admiral Brad Cooper, the top U.S. military officer at Central Command sent this letter to the 50,000 American troops that are in harm's way. It may be intended as motivational and reverent, but it offers no clear objective, trigger, or strategic rationale for the deployment beyond vague references to the Iranian regime and protecting Americans.

It suggests a tragic certainty that has been woven throughout U.S. propaganda all weekend: human lives are being risked without a clearly articulated purpose.

Supreme Court Sides With Parents in Trans Secrecy Case

The Supreme Court ruled that California cannot withhold information about children from their parents, particularly as it relates to transgender ideology. This is a temporary ruling while the case is being heard.

The case involves parents who were not told that their daughter had been going to school as a boy and the school kept it from them, including the fact that they'd been using her boy name. They did not find out until the young woman attempted suicide. The parents sought religious exemption from the state laws that allow schools to keep this from them and the court ruled that they "are likely to succeed on the merits of their Free Exercise Clause claim."

The court also stated: "The State argues that its policies advance a compelling interest in student safety and privacy. But those policies cut out the primary protectors of children’s best interests: their parents."
