U.S. troops are being deployed to the Middle East after Israel escalated its war with Lebanon on Monday.
Israel launched massive attacks aimed at Hezbollah on Monday, killing at least 558 people, including 50 children and 94 women. Hezbollah responded by targeting Israeli airbases with missiles of their own.
There are also reports that Israel is dropping leaflets into Lebanon with scannable barcodes. Hezbollah is warning that those codes will allow Israel to track all information on any given device. After Israel targeted mobile devices last week, turning them into personal bombs, one would be prudent to avoid scanning any such thing!
President Biden today spoke at the United Nations and promoted his own peace accords between Israel and Gaza. That peace plan has been rejected by Hamas because it allows Israel the right to control Gaza at any time after a hostage exchange. The President also said that Palestinians should have "a state of their own." Is the U.S. there to support that? It is unclear.
Pentagon spokesman Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said, “In light of increased tension in the Middle East and out of an abundance of caution, we are sending a small number of additional US military personnel forward to augment our forces that are already in the region.”
Ryder wouldn’t say how many troops the US would send to the region. “But for operational security reasons, I’m not going to comment on or provide specifics,” he said. There are currently about 40,000 US military personnel across the Middle East.
Border Patrol agents are warning that children as young as 8 years-old are being "recycled" by different smugglers at the border.
“A few years ago when they were coming in en masse, we had to let family units in. People kept coming in and after a while we noticed the kids were the same, but the parents were different. They were recycling the kids,” a Border Patrol source told The New York Post.
What happens to these children? Your imagination probably cannot even come up with the worst of it. Agents say that they are sold into forced manual or sex labor. Along the way, they are “heavily dosed with sleep aids to prevent [them] from talking” while authorities question the "families." The traffickers that are caught often have with them "birth certificates for more children."

The FCC has approved a "fast-tracked" deal for billionaire George Soros to buy "more than 200 radio stations in 40 markets just weeks before the presidential election," according to The New York Post.
Why would he want to own so much media and what's more, why would the government skip over rules to allow it? Soros reportedly took foreign investment to make the purchase but "under existing FCC rules, foreign company ownership of US radio stations is not supposed to exceed 25%." Soros asked the FCC to "make an exception to the usual review process" and the FCC complied! Why?
According to the Post,
"The FCC decision to fast-track his deal is the first time in modern history such a deal has been approved by the full Commission without first running the national security review process—a process that could take up to a year or more.
The Soros group says they will come back to the FCC at some point in the future to run that process."
Suuuuuure they will.
Democrats Vote Against Protecting Women From Illegal Immigrant Violence
Why did 158 Democrats in the House of Representatives vote against H.R.7909, the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act? The bill allows immigrants "who have been convicted of or who have committed sex offenses or domestic violence" to be deported.
Who wouldn't want that?
The bill passed in the House and is currently being considered in the Senate but given that Democrats in the House don't support it, why would Democrats in the Senate pass it? And what is their opposition to deporting sex offenders? Why would they want them to stay in our borders? Most countries require clean criminal records for immigration. What is our problem?
