Lead: President Biden: This is Fine

Supporters of President Biden say that all the viral videos of the geriatric leader freezing up and looking confused and demented are "disinformation."

Adrienne Elrod, a spokesperson for Biden’s campaign, told MSNBC that these videos should be downranked on social media. Another word for that would be: censored.

But that would seem like a game of whackamole because there is evidence of the president's decline almost every day. Just this weekend, former President Obama appeared to lead President Biden off stage by the hand after he froze on stage. Last week, he was markedly less with it than other members of the G7. Before that, he was seen looking confused at a Juneteenth rally. There is no way they can tell the American people that he's fine yet they keep trying to do just that.

Miranda Devine, the New York Post reporter that broke the Hunter Biden laptop story, says that this feels like a plan to lower expectations so that we can all cheer for the president for simply not falling off the stage at the upcoming debates because "God forbid that we allow our eyes to see what they see when it comes to the Meanderer in Chief’s bizarre behavior."

Mad Government Disease?

The Biden administration wants to put electronic tags on all bison and cattle that moves between state lines. Why?

They say it is to trace possible disease or track the food supply but those who oppose the bill say that this is a "a solution in search of a problem that will advance a federal mandate which the American ranching community will have to pay for." A group of lawmakers have introduced legislation to block this and they say that "there is nothing wrong with our traditional disease traceability system. This unfunded mandate raises serious privacy concerns for ranchers and their herds, with the potential to lock ranchers out of their traditional markets, thereby furthering vertical integration of the U.S. food supply chain."

One of the more concerning outcomes of this legislation is that it would mean that "the government will know where every animal is and who owns it,” according to Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie.

Don't be surprised if the government uses the possible bird flu "pandemic" to justify this.

Time to Talk Taxes

We've reached the time in the presidential campaign when candidates lay out what they would do for your taxes. We know that President Biden keeps trying to increase them only Congress won't pass his tax hikes because the House of Representatives has Republicans in the majority.

President Trump lowered taxes during his administration and he seems keen to lower them again. He recently said that he favors lowering the corporate tax rate from 21% to 20% and he floated the idea of replacing personal income taxes with tariffs, which would mean taxing imports on foreign goods. How would this work and who would it hurt or help? There is no simple answer but we'll be watching it closely as the campaign heats up!

News By The Numbers

12. That was, is and forever will be Tom Brady's number after it was officially retired by the New England Patriots in a ceremony last week. (Sorry we messed up this blurb last week with this photo but hey, it's a good excuse to look at Tom Brady looking handsome again!)

$81,950. That is how much the FAA is seeking in a lawsuit against a woman who was so badly behaved on a flight that the crew had to duct tape her to her seat. The FAA originally fined her this amount but she did not pay it so now they're litigating to collect.

4. That is how many months per year Costco will now sell books, rather than year-round. However will Prince Harry and Michelle Obama sell their books to my mother now?

110,905. That is how many people attended a George Strait concert in Texas this weekend, which is now the record for the most ticketed concert ever in the U.S.

What's Trending?

Tony Awards are trending because that happened on Sunday. A list of the winners can be found here.

Charles Barkley is trending because he announced his retirement from sports broadcasting.

Jillian Michaels is trending because she says that she is leaving California because of extreme woke policies even though she holds so many cards in the "cake of woke victimology poker." She is a gay woman who is half Jewish and half middle Eastern and she feels that her home state of California has just gone off the rails, even for progressive thinking people.

Maine's New Drug Program Is A BUMmer For Taxpayers

Warning: Don't read this story while you're eating.

Maine is handing out “boofing” kits to fentanyl addicts. Boofing is when you shoot drugs up your butt. Sorry. We're not doing it, we're just telling you about it because taxpayers are paying for it.

This is part of Maine's harm reduction program which gives drugs to addicts so that they can use substances in a controlled environment. Harm reduction is not regulated and there are no national standards on how to do this in order to help someone break an addiction but liberal governments practice this because they think it is compassionate. Is it compassionate to help someone abuse drugs through their butthole?

Why in the world would someone do this? The state's guide explains thusly: “If you are struggling to hit a vein, or would like to gives [sic] your lungs a break from smoking, boofing is a great option to do your drugs without using a needle or a pipe.”

Also in Maine, the state is building publicly funded affordable housing for LGBTQ people only. Both Maine's own state laws and federal law both prohibit housing discrimination based on sexual orientation so I'm not sure how this is legal but they're doing it.
