The post confirmed that “B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers from Minot Air Force Base’s 5th Bomb Wing arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.”
What is the U.S. responsibility in Israel exactly? The Pentagon says that the deployment is for the “protection of US citizens and forces in the Middle East, the defense of Israel, and de-escalation.”
Can the U.S. also stop Israel from bombing hospitals? Three hospitals in Gaza were bombed by Israel over the weekend, which is against international law. The IDF says that it has to target hospitals in order to target Hamas. According to the Associated Press, Israel “claims Hamas uses hospitals as ‘command and control bases’ to plan attacks, to shelter fighters and to hide hostages. It argues that nullifies the protections for hospitals.”
No. It doesn’t. There is no international law that allows for that.
Israel is also busy deflecting rockets from Lebanon. The military says that it “detected the launch of 105 rockets from Lebanon by fighters of the Shiite organization Hezbollah towards the Jewish state on Sunday.”
The Squirrel Heard Round The World

The Internet exploded about a man who kept a pet squirrel and raccoon as pets in New York state after authorities raided his home, seized the animals and reportedly euthanized them.
The squirrel’s name was Peanut, or P’Nut, and the raccoon’s name was Fred. They had a sizable social media following, managed by his owner Mark Longo. According to the Associated Press, the New York “Department of Environmental Conservation took the animals Wednesday from Longo’s home and animal sanctuary in rural Pine City, near the Pennsylvania border. The agency said it had gotten complaints that wildlife was being kept illegally and potentially unsafely. State law requires people to get a license if they wish to own a wild animal. Longo has said he was working to get Peanut… certified as an educational animal.”
Authorities said that the animals were “euthanized so they could be tested for rabies after Peanut bit someone involved in the investigation.” These animals have become a campaign rally against the type of authoritarian government that is championed by the Democrats. Follow the hashtag #PeanutTheSquirrel but don’t forget about Fred, who was less popular but also lost his life.
The pet owners reportedly had an OnlyFans channel and they say that the government may have raided their home related to that activity.

Live From New York… It’s an FCC ViolationÂ
Vice President Kamala Harris made an “impromptu” visit to Saturday Night Live this weekend, earning NBCÂ a scolding from the FCC.
Why? Because the law requires news networks to offer equal time to presidential candidates in an election cycle. SNL had originally pledged not to invite either candidate on the show but made a “last-minute decision” to host Vice President Harris. Who really believes this was a “last-minute decision”??
After FCC commissioner Brendan Carr scolded NBC, the network gave President Trump a 90-second ad during Sunday’s NASCAR coverage and NFL game. That probably worked out in his favor. SNL gets 5 million viewers on a good night. The NFL averages 18 million. Still, it’s yet another reason that most people mistrust the media.
Commissioner Carr said this about NBC’s decision: “This has all the appearances of, at least some leadership at NBC, at SNL, making clear that they wanted to weigh-in in favor of one candidate before the election. That’s exactly why, for decades, we’ve had an equal time rule on the book, is to prevent that. Because remember, broadcasters are placed in a special position of trust. They’re not just like any other person with a soapbox on the corner. They have a license from the federal government that obligates them to operate in the public interest.”
NBC News filed an Equal Time notice with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) late Sunday.
News By The Numbers
55. That is the age of Diddy. Today is his birthday. He will reportedly get a pizza party from prison.
£10,500. That is what university tuition in the U.K. could increase to, up from £9,250, which has been the price since 2017. Prime Minister Keir Starmer will announce an increase which will come into effect in 2025.
$331. That is the monthly pension that JPMorgan Chase has refused to pay a former employee’s widow because the man “failed to fill out the necessary paperwork before his untimely death,” according to The New York Post.
New York City Marathon is trending because that happened this weekend. The male winner was Abdi Nageeye, 35, from the Netherlands, who completed the race in 2:07:39. The female winner was Sheila Chepkirui, 33, from Kenya, who finished in 2:24.35.
This post about Monica Lewinsky is trending and we warn you, it’s Not Safe for Work. The post was community noted about the correct bodily hole that President Bill Clinton put…an inanimate object into Lewinsky and the poster was amused by it.
Quincy Jones is trending because the music mogul died at the age of 91.
This is a joint initiative between “the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), in collaboration with the U.S. Departments of State (State), Agriculture (USDA), and Homeland Security (DHS), and their respective counterparts in Mexico and Canada.” It has all the hallmarks of the WHO plan, including identifying and preparing to “prevent and mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from pandemics and other events that pose a threat to regional health security.”
That sounds great except those agencies misled the public so blatantly during the Covid-19 pandemic. They should NOT be awarded more power!
If they admit that they suppressed true information about infection threats to children, masking, lockdowns, the vaccine and mandates, maybe we might want to see these agencies take another swipe at “pandemic preparedness” but given that they still refuse, they don’t deserve this power.
Unlike the WHO pandemic treaty, it does not seem like there will be a vote for this initiative. It seems as though the government is just going ahead and doing it.
