Israel "accidentally" bombed a refugee camp and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that at least they tried not to.
Israel reportedly hit a tent camp and killed at least 45 people, including women and children. The White House said that it was “heartbreaking” but the attack is Israel’s right. The tent camp has reportedly been designated as a safe zone but Netanyahu said that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) used their "best efforts not to harm those uninvolved” and they will investigate themselves on the matter.
Meanwhile, the Israeli government is working on legislation that would label the UN Aid Agency for Palestinians (UNRWA) as a terrorist organization. This is one of the main sources of aid for the Palestinians but Israel has said that some aid workers assisted in the October 7 massacre, although they have not proven it. The Knesset will vote on a bill to label the organization as terrorists on Wednesday, which will further prevent their work to help suffering civilians.
Will air travel get more dangerous because of…wait for it…climate change? It couldn’t be because of airplane manufacturer conspiracies, right?
As safety incidents on airplanes increase and regulators look to Boeing to figure out what the heck is going on, look at this headline: “Professor ponders…” if climate change is creating more turbulence. Translation: It’s your fault for living in the modern world and pumping greenhouse gas into the atmosphere. It certainly is not the aviation industry's fault! No way!
How do they know that climate change contributes to air turbulence? This study concludes that since turbulence has increased in frequency in recent years, it must be because of climate change. They don’t prove causality though.
Aviation technology allows airlines to forecast and avoid turbulence so the climate change explanation doesn’t quite add up, does it?

The Biden Administration wants to prioritize organ transplants to low income patients and racial minority patients. A new proposal from Health and Human Services would allow hospitals to charge more for DEI transplants.
While the proposal does not specifically allow for price surges for race, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra said that the law would remove racial bias in the transplant system.
Not only could hospitals get paid more from the Federal government for low-income transplants, it could be penalized if it does not do enough low income transplants. If a hospital does not meet a minimum low-income patient score, they’d have to pay $2,000 per transplant that they did for a regular-income person. Which means that making a decent living would put your life in jeopardy should you need an organ transplant.

A theater in Massachusetts apologized for hosting actor Richard Dreyfuss for a screening of Jaws. Dreyfuss has made it clear many times that he does not like woke politics but the theater was surprised when he went off about woke politics.
Dreyfuss came on stage in a dress and then proceeded to say that 10-year-olds should not change their gender. He reportedly spoke against the Me Too movement and his opinions about women in film. The Boston Globe called it “a hate-filled speech” and reported that many patrons walked out.
It's important to note that he was being asked about these things by an interviewer. Lesson of the day: Don't ask people for their opinions if there is a chance that you won't like their opinions.
