Lead: Biden Crime Family Pardon
credit: nypost
President Biden issued a blanket pardon for his son Hunter Biden dating back to 2014, something he has repeatedly vowed NOT to do.
President Biden also said on the 2020 campaign trail that he had nothing to do with his son’s businesses and that turned out to be a lie so no one should have expected him to keep his word on the pardon. Still, the blatant nepotism is a Game of Thrones move. I’d say Hunter is Joffrey Baratheon in this instance and he should avoid all pie.
“No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son – and that is wrong,” the President’s statement said.
So…there is political retribution in the Justice Department then? I thought Democrats called that a MAGA talking point.
We have looked at the facts of the case and we conclude he was singled out for privileged treatment, not harsher treatment. He was offered a sweetheart deal, which a judge rejected, he was never charged with sex crimes related to minors, he was never charged with acting as a foreign agent, which he clearly did and IRS whistleblowers have been punished for trying to look deeper into his business dealings.
There is extra irony here in that the 1994 Crime Bill that then-Senator Biden authored has put countless people in jail for the crime that his son will now walk away with.
The two whistleblowers, Special Agent Gary Shapley and Special Agent Joe Ziegler, released this statement: “No amount of lies or spin can hide the simple truth that the Justice Department nearly let the President’s son off the hook for multiple felonies. We did our duty, told the truth, and followed the law. Anyone reading the President’s excuses now should remember that Hunter Biden admitted to his tax crimes in federal court, that Hunter Biden’s attorneys have targeted us for our lawful whistleblower disclosures, and that we are suing one of those attorneys for smearing us with false accusations. President Biden has the power to put his thumb on the scales of justice for his son, but at least he had to do it with a pardon explicitly for all the world to see rather than his political appointees doing it secretly behind the scenes. Either way it is a sad day for law abiding taxpayers to witness this special privilege for the powerful.”
Meet Kash PatelÂ

President Trump has appointed “Kashyap “Kash” Patel [to] serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation” and his supporters are pretty stoked about this.
Patel was an integral part of “Objective Medusa,” which was an effort to uncover collusion against President Trump by the Obama White House, Clinton campaign, Department of Justice and FBI. “Crossfire Hurricane” was the name that the FBI gave its investigation of President Trump while running for office in 2015 and it was based on the Steele Dossier that was bought and paid for by the Clinton campaign.
Patel was a terrorism prosecutor at the Department of Justice and served as a civilian in the military at the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). He has said that he has a “profound respect and love for the [DOJ] and FBI,” which was why he worked to root out a politically-motivated targeting of President Trump as soon as he won his first Republican primary. Now he will have access to all the people who participated in this, which may explain why one of the lead prosecutors on the Mueller Investigation, Andrew Weissmann, seems nervous. He said that Patel “does not have the experience and gravitas to lead the preeminent federal agency in America whose 30,000+ employees serve to keeps us safe from terrorists and child predators.”
In Weissmann’s own book about the investigation, he admits that what they found was grey area. His biggest complaint is Trump’s threatening to shut it down while he was in office. The investigation cost taxpayers $30 million.

The Many Faces of Ukraine’s DictatorÂ
Ukrainian President Zelensky is contradicting himself about peace talks. On Friday, he told Sky News that he was willing to give up control of lands that he has long-since lost in exchange for NATO protection but at an EU conference on Sunday he said thatUkraine would “never legally recognize any occupation of our lands” by Russia.
By this he means Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye.
Zelensky said that Ukraine would not join NATO on conditions that it excludes those regions. “Such an invitation would be an automatic acknowledgment that all other [lost] territories are not just at risk, but also not Ukrainian. Ukraine will never agree to this. If there’s an invitation, it must include all territories.”
Ukraine does not have any prayer of regaining control of those places after the people and leaders in those places requested to join Russia and voted to do so. Ukraine’s military resistance has been utterly futile but that hasn’t stopped the Biden White House from fast tracking arms to Ukraine.
National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said this on ABC this weekend? “President Biden directed me to oversee a massive surge in the military equipment that we are delivering to Ukraine so that we have spent every dollar that Congress has appropriated to us by the time that President Biden leaves office.”
News By The Numbers
14.3 million. That is how many people played Fortnite at the same time this weekend to participate in a virtual concert starring Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice and the deceased Juice WRLD. That is a new record, surpassing the previous record of 11.6 million. The game also released Chapter 6, Season 1 with new weapons and supplies.
20 inches. That is how much snow may fall between now and Tuesday in Pennsylvania in a major storm that began this weekend. Governor Josh Shapiro activated the National Guard to assist residents who may need it.
$1.6 million. That was the life insurance payout that a man in China tried to collect after his wife died from falling off of a ferry. Too bad for him, he was found guilty of having pushed her and will get none of it. He was recently sentenced to death.
Jaguar is trending because the company will show off new cars in Miami tonight after weeks of annoying people with its new branding campaign. These images of the new cars were leaked and they’re… really something. It looks like something my children created in Roblox.
Enron is trending because the company has relaunched as a crypto and blockchain company after its 2001 bankruptcy! You may recall that Enron was an energy company. It will be again but this time, using a blockchain technology to “address the critical challenges of energy sustainability, accessibility, and affordability.”
Pat Gelsinger is trending because Intel announced that he will retire as CEO after more than 40 years with the company. This comes after a four-year slump.
Illegal Immigrant Report
The New York Post reports that there are nearly “58,000 illegal migrants who are convicted felons or facing criminal charges roaming NYC — and close to 670,000 across the country.”
This comports with the numbers that were confirmed by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in September showing that the agency knows about 662,556 noncitizens with criminal histories but only has about 15,000 of them detained. That is a pathetic detention rate of 2%, meaning the remaining 98% of criminals are roaming the streets of America right now.
The Post report says this: “Of the 759,218 illegal-border crossers living in the Big Apple the feds were aware of as of Nov. 17, a jaw-dropping 58,626 — 7.7% — were either previously convicted of crimes or had criminal charges pending, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency data. And of the 58,626 migrants with rap sheets, 1,053, nearly 2%, are ‘suspected or known gang members,’ according to the agency.”
Councilman Robert Holden, a moderate Queens Democrat, said this about it: “These numbers make it clear what everyone but our elected officials already know: sanctuary city laws are endangering New Yorkers by shielding criminals instead of protecting law-abiding citizens.”
New York politicians are responding with tough talk but little action. New Yorkers are still paying taxes to support migrants. Over the weekend it was reported that the city has “committed $220 million to rent the Roosevelt Hotel, a Manhattan landmark owned by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), a government entity of Pakistan. The hotel, housing over 1,200 rooms, is being used to accommodate undocumented migrants for three years under a lease agreement. The deal is expected to generate significant revenue for Pakistan, aiding its financial recovery efforts.”
