🚨 Seriously? – September 25 2024

Ground News

Happy Wednesday.

Just kidding! The Australian Bureau of Meteorology sent out a false tsunami warning to mobile devices but they apologized saying that it was a mistake and the alert was only meant to be a test of the software.

In Case You Missed It.

🚨 Diddy is reportedly being held in a New York jail with former FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried. I bet those two could exchange some name-dropping.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ UK Prime Minister asked Hamas to return the sausages in a speech on Tuesday. He meant hostages.

πŸŒ€ Tropical Storm Helene is expected to advance into a hurricane today and into Thursday.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ Former President Trump may not meet with Ukrainian President Zelensky while he is in the U.S. There is no reason for either candidate to give him the time of day for any other reason than to force him to peace negotiations with Russia! His "victory plan" is a scam.

πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί Google filed an antitrust complaint against Microsoft with the European Union.

πŸ’° Kamala Harris will outline an economic plan later today. That's 41 days before the election.

🎀 Julian Assange will testify to the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) next week in France. This is his first public speech since his release. Can someone please be punished for what happened to him!?

Lead: YouTube Suppressing Anti-War Videos

credit: getty

YouTube is undeniably suppressing this Redacted piece from yesterday about how a vote for the Democrats is a vote to endorse sending our children to war. Despite having record-breaking traffic during our live stream yesterday, this video has less than one-tenth the views of even our low-performing videos. What is it that they don't want you to see?

In this piece, we outline the lies that have led the U.S. into war since the first Bush Administration. We outline the war crimes of the U.S. military that were sold to the military and American people based on blatantly false propaganda. We begged voters to see that we are STILL being told these lies about the war in Ukraine and Gaza. Who in their right mind would believe that we were lied to for decades but are being told the truth now?

The Democrats are the ones repeating these lies the loudest but Republicans are hardly correcting the record because they're a uniparty.

These lies will lead to a military draft.

Due to record-low military enrollment, the 2025 Defense budget proposes a draft of young men and women too. A vote for the Democrats is a vote for these wars, full stop. The culture wars are a distraction for voters so that they miss the real wars. YouTube doesn't want you to see that but we do. If you would be so kind, watch and share this piece and please take these wars into account when you vote this autumn.

Perhaps you can watch the video and share it with everyone you know?

Risk of All-Out War Appears Imminent

Israel says that it has intercepted a missile from Hezbollah that was aimed at the headquarters of Mossad, the Israeli spy agency. No one was hurt but alerts still sent residents of Tel Aviv into their shelters.

Hezbollah claims that it is retaliating against the pager and walkie-talkie attacks from last week as well as Israeli strikes on Lebanon that killed hundreds of people, most of them civilians. Lebanon says that over 90,000 people are now displaced from the attacks.

This morning Israel expanded its airstrikes against targets in Lebanon. Israel's Army chief says strikes in Lebanon are to prepare for a coming ground invasion by Israeli forces.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with the Gulf Cooperation Council in New York City today and said that the "risk of escalation in the region is acute. The best answer is diplomacy, and our coordinated efforts are vital to preventing further escalation."

What efforts do you think he's talking about?

Media Bias Is Real, Here's How to Avoid It

americanfinancing

As many of you long-time viewers already know, the heart of what we do here is bringing you the stories that the mainstream media misses or chooses to ignore.

Recently, we came across a tool that aligns perfectly with our mission. That tool is Ground News. If you’re tired of the misleading narratives in the media, you’ll appreciate this. It’s a way to see how different outlets are covering the same story, all in one place. Imagine being able to compare coverage on the same story from different news sources worldwide. Ground News has become a valuable tool for the team at Redacted to sort through the bias.

They don't generate the news; rather they compile it in one place and give you a visual breakdown of the news outlets. Try it right now and Redacted readers will get 40% off of their unlimited plan by signing up right here

Introducing the EEE Virus

credit: giphy

New York Governor Kathy Hochul has declared "an "imminent threat to the public for EEE." That is, the mosquito-borne eastern equine encephalitis virus.

A person in New York reportedly died from the virus. It was the first human case since 2015 in New York. A person reportedly died in New Hampshire earlier this year.

EEE is typically asymptomatic but experts say that it can have a 30% fatality rate. People in New York are being asked to wear insect repellent with DEET, which the EPA says is safe. To wear every day!?

By declaring EEE an imminent threat, New York will ramp up mosquito spraying.

There is a vaccine for EEE but it is not publicly available. It is going through clinical trials. Unless the government fast-tracks it, of course.

What's Trending?

South Africa is trending for having unusually heavy snow at this time of year. At least two people are reported dead from hypothermia.

Brett Favre is trending because he admitted that he has Parkinson's disease which has been linked to repeated concussions. Favre says that he suffered from "thousands" of concussions during his NFL career. It probably wasn't thousands but I would believe dozens.

Carahsoft is trending because the FBI raided the headquarters of the software company in connection with the sale of SAP software and hardware.

Paul Pelosi's Magic Timing

credit: time

Nancy Pelosi's husband Paul Pelosi reportedly unloaded $500,000 worth of Visa stock just weeks before the company was sued for antitrust by the federal government. That's lucky timing, right?

By selling just before a major lawsuit, Pelosi saved himself at least 5.5% in losses. This is not the first time he has made trades that coincide with government action. He invested heavily in Nvidia, a Taiwanese microchip company, just before Pelosi announced a major investment in the Taiwanese microchip industry.

The former House Speaker maintains she knows nothing about her husband's trades but she has always been against legislation to ban lawmakers and their spouses from trading stock.

I'm sure it's all on the up and up.

News By The Numbers

$120 million. That was the budget for Francis Ford Coppola's ‘Megalopolis,' which opens this weekend. Reviews are dismal. The NY Post calls it "a zero-star, wacko disaster."

Five. That is how many Chick-fil-A restaurants will open for the first time in the U.K. in the coming months. This is the first time the chicken restaurant will have a location outside of North America.

34 years. That is how old the ginger beer Old Jamaica is but the company says that it is closing shop so enjoy it while you can.
