Ukrainian President Zelensky says that he is in talks with the United States to support Ukraine “for the next ten years.”

The ink is hardly dry on a bill to send $61 billion to Ukraine last week! And yet Zelensky is working on a 10-year blank check?

“Today, our teams – of Ukraine and the United States – are working on a bilateral agreement on security,” he said on Telegram. “We are working to commit to paper concrete levels of support for this year and for the next ten years. It will include military, financial, and political support, as well as what concerns joint production of weapons.”

Ten years!? Ten more years of supporting a war that most Americans don’t support and many Ukrainians don’t want either?? Ten more years of Zelensky’s lies about the true cost of lives? The Washington Post reported this weekend that Zelensky has downplayed the death toll since the war in order to drag it on and he pretends that it is going well when it clearly is not.

We Came To Lecture You

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was reportedly offended by this video of Chinese President Xi Jinping clearly not looking forward to meeting with the American diplomat. It is indicative of how well the meeting went.

The American diplomat came to town to lecture China about doing business with Russia. It was a brazen and doomed mission from the get go.

In the video, the Chinese President asks his aide, “When will he leave?" The aide says, “Tonight,” to which the President says, “Good.”

It was not like “Oh good, I hope he travels safely and has enjoyed his time here.” Oh no. It was more like, “Good, I’ll be happy to bid farewell to that pedantic fool.”

Blinken now says that the U.S. will increase pressure on China with sanctions and that the U.S. has evidence that China is interfering with U.S. elections. That evidence, he says, is "generally speaking." He offered no evidence.

Blinken now heads to the Middle East this week to try to broker a ceasefire in Gaza.

Congress Doesn't Want You To Criticize Israel

credit: x

The U.S. Congress is responding to university protests of the war in Gaza by introducing a bill that would monitor for antisemitism. They are playing off an over-simplicity equating calls for peace with antisemitism and pro-Hamas.

As Senator Bernie Sanders points out, “it is not antisemitic or pro-Hamas to point out that in a little over six months, [the Israeli government] has killed 34,000 Palestinians and wounded more than 78,000, 70% of whom are women and children.”

But Congress is moving forward to stop the protestors anyway under the guise of combatting antisemitism. The COLUMBIA Act, or College Oversight and Legal Updates Mandating Bias Investigations and Accountability Act, would revoke federal funding from any university that allows any sentiment that could be construed as antisemitism and would require schools to hire "antisemitism monitors.”

Not everyone is buying it.

Representative Thomas Massie called this “a bipartisan effort in Congress to equate criticism of the secular state of Israel to violence toward Jewish people in America. The latter is illegal and the former is protected speech, but if a false equivalency is established, it will be forbidden to criticize Israel.”

Yes, that is where this is going, but young people will not be deterred. Protests that began in New York spread across the country to California this weekend, even though hundreds of students were arrested.

What's Trending?

Justin Bieber is trending for posting a photo of himself crying

News By The Numbers

2028. That is when the U.S. and Japan are aiming to put a man on the moon with their joint space program. They are trying to beat China to it.

32. That is how many teams are in the NFL and wrapped up the draft weekend in Detroit. See how they did here.

54. That is how many bomb threats Planet Fitness locations received in recent weeks. The Washington Post surmises that it has to do with LGBTQ+ support but police have not determined what is behind the threats.

Boobs are Making a Comeback!

credit: getty

Guess what? We can call ladies boobs "boobs" again! The National Health Service in the U.K. is expected to announce a ban on gender-neutral terms for the female body in healthcare services.

The term chestfeeding was introduced by trans ideologists to include women who identify as men. This term will not be allowed by NHS services and neither will “people who have ovaries.” These people can and will once again be called women.

Some other terms that we can toss in the trash along with these are penis-havers, testicle-havers, ovary-havers, uterus owners, bepenised women, human milk feeders, and my very least favorite: pregnant people.

The NHS will also allow women to request female-only healthcare providers, which was considered bigoted just one year ago when a woman had her surgery canceled because she requested a female-only staff. Perhaps one day, we will refer to the days when gender was subverted by ideologists hell-bent on giving sex changes to children as the gender ideology days. And perhaps this means that the more insidious nature of all of that is coming to an end.
