Lead: Putting President Biden Out To Pasture

Pressure is mounting for President Biden to end his bid for re-election. Congress has been out of session since the June 27 debate but they come back today and there has begun a mass exodus from Team Biden, even amongst Democrats.

At least nine Democrats have called for the President to end his campaign, perhaps out of fear that it will cost them their own re-elections. Democrats had an emergency meeting on Sunday to discuss the President with the overall sentiment, according to MSNBC, that they don't trust President Biden to beat former President Trump in November. Senator Mark Warner is expected to host another meeting around this topic later this week.

Democrats seem so confused with this fallout, even though the writing has been on the wall. The economy is terrible. The warmongering has no end. The groups that they expect support from are abandoning them, namely Black and Hispanic voters. Democrats still have not grasped the idea that telling people how to vote based on their race is racism. The Congressional Black Caucus say that they support President Biden but they seem to have missed how many Black voters do not

A New York Times-Siena College national poll released last week shows President Trump leading Biden among Hispanic registered voters by 9 percentage points.

Ukraine Said What?

Ukraine says that they are killing more Russian soldiers than you think. This was reported by The Economist, apparently from "leaked documents from the U.S. Defense Department."

Ukraine told the State Department that "between 462,000 and 728,000 Russian soldiers were killed, injured, or captured by mid-June." That's funny because that's more than Russia ever deployed. It is also strange given that in 2023, Ukraine said that Russia had only lost 250,000 soldiers, so how did they double the death toll while losing the war?

In other words: Ukraine lies. Still, President Biden said that Ukraine is a priority in his congratulatory call with new British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The West doesn't care that they lie.

Ukraine now says that they'd like the West to provide them with submarines. Which are apparently easy to drive with no experience and training.

"We are thinking about it, submarines are necessary for us, they should be part of the navy,” Navy chief Admiral Aleksey Neizhpapa said over the weekend.

We gave it some thought, we'd like some submarines please. Why not?

Israel Admits to Killing Its Own People

Israeli newspaper Haaretz says that the Israeli army killed many, many Israeli citizens on October 7. This is not new information. What is new is that Haaretz has reported it

Israel has a term for killing its own civilians it's called the Hannibal procedure and it was instituted back in 1986. The IDF was ordered to prevent Hamas kidnapping, even "at the expense of the lives of the kidnapped." Many testimonies have shown this to anyone who was willing to see them. This video from Uncaptured Media showed victims from a Kibbutz Be'eri that were indiscriminately shelled by the IDF.

"There was crazy hysteria, with decisions made without any verified information," one source said. Huh. That is inconsistent with the reputation of the super-precise and well-funded IDF. So how did this happen and who made those orders? Haaretz says that this may not be known until there is a post-war investigation.

The IDF said this about these revelations: "The army has been fighting for six months at high intensity on several fronts, focused on attaining the war's objectives. In tandem, the IDF has begun conducting internal investigations of what transpired on October 7 and the preceding period. The aim of these investigations is to learn and to draw lessons which could be used in continuing the battle. When these investigations are concluded, the results will be presented to the public with transparency."

News By The Numbers

9. That is how many times Lewis Hamilton has won the British Grand Prix after his win this weekend. He had not been winning lately though. This win breaks a 2.5-year dry spell for the race car driver.

$444. That is how much a man spent at Trader Joe's to feed his six children for about a week and a half, he says. This video went viral but many users noticed that the bill included many expensive processed items so that doesn't help. Still, the inflation effect of this bill is undeniable.

$170,000. That is how much a tourist attraction in the U.K. lost after banning people from throwing money into a wishing well. The Roman Baths in Bath instead asked visitors to make a cashless donation and far fewer people did because how are you going to make a wish on a contactless payment? That's dumb.

What's Trending?

Olivia Culpo is trending because her wedding dress and makeup were too conservative for the internet. She was dragged online because the dress and makeup were simple. She told Vogue that she did not want her wedding look "to exude sex in any way, shape, or form" and people blamed her husband's Christian faith for that. Heaven forbid she should look timeless. (FWIW, I love it and the reception gown too.)

John Cena is trending because he announced that he will retire from WWE wrestling in 2025.

Biden's Gender Plans Hit a Road Block

The Biden administration's Title IX rules that would extend women's rights to men who identify as women has been halted by litigation from federal judges in Mississippi, Texas and Montana.

In Mississippi, a judge granted a preliminary injunction and a nationwide stay against the new rules. The judge's ruling affirmed that the "federal government can’t enforce its reinterpretation of Title IX protections to include gender identity revisions."

A judge in Texas and Montana had granted a stay in those states.

In May, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services revised the Title IX rules, kneecapping women's rights. The Federal government intends to fight this stay and continue to defend this version of Title IX, although it is unclear how they will succeed in this uphill battle.
