Lead: Coalition of The Warmongers
European leaders rushed to stand with Ukrainian President Zelensky after he was thrown out of the White House for petulantly demanding that the U.S. abandon diplomacy with Russia. After President Trump and Vice President Vance called him out for this, European leaders acted in unison to signal that Europe can and will pick up the torch by posing for this War Lovers Family Photo. They are calling themselves the "coalition of the willing."
European Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen summarized the meeting thus: We want peace. We'll do it with a "massive surge" of war.
The U.K. signed a 100-year agreement to support Ukraine, both militarily and financially. This was already in the works since January but it was widely reported over the weekend to symbolize Britain's opposition to the U.S. position. This puts them on the hook for £3 billion per year until 2031. That's only 6 years so who knows what the remaining 94 will entail but they do have a plan to establish military bases along the Sea of Azov, which Russia controls. That should go well.
Part of this plan is for "combating…propaganda." So expect a lot of propaganda.
British Prime Minister Starmer also announced a £1.6 billion missile deal for Ukraine.
President Zelensky posted his summary of his weekend, reiterating that Europe is his new bestie because the U.S. refuses to play that role now.
Oh and Canada wants in on that action too. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau scored himself an invitation to the summit and now says that "everything is on the table" for Canadian support to Ukraine, including troops on the ground.
Based on this political theater, there are increasing calls for the U.S. to leave NATO.
Collaboration with…Russia?

The Pentagon is reportedly ending it's cyberwar on Russia. This was reported by The Record and sort of validated by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
I say "sort of" because he commented on Hillary Clinton sharing it by pointing out that she too has a history with Russia. Hegseth, according to reports, has ordered the U.S. to stop "offensive digital actions" on Russia. Which serves as a reminder that the U.S. launches cyber warfare on other countries and was the first to launch a cyber weapon.
Why would he do that? Because you can't be attacking a country that you're trying to make peace with clearly.
The U.S. is also seeking out energy and mineral deals with Russia, which Russian President Vladimir Putin says is on the table. The mineral-rich land of Eastern Ukraine is now in Russia's control so that makes sense.
Now there are reports that the U.S. may want to invest in the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline. Yes THAT one, the one that the Biden administration sabotaged. It has never actually been activated but President Trump is ambitious about investment and energy so it very well could.
During his first term, President Trump said that he would kill the project but apparently he's had a change of heart.
Ukrainian President Zelensky says that he is still willing to sign the minerals deal that did not get signed after a sour meeting at the White House. Will the U.S. still want it?

Ceasefire Ends

Israel turned the bombs back on after the first phase of the ceasefire ended without an agreement to extend to a second phase.
Over the weekend, Israeli forces struck northern Gaza. Israel blames Hamas for "not accepting a US-backed proposal for extending the truce." They did not accept it because it did not have a commitment for Israel to end the war.
The U.S. plan, put forward by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, allowed the ceasefire to extend during Ramadan, which began on Saturday and ends on March 29. It would also extend through Passover, which is between April 12 through 19.
So what now that the second and third phases of the ceasefire are in limbo? Israel cut off aid flowing into Gaza while the U.S. stepped up weapons shipments to Israel. On Saturday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that he had expedited the shipment of $4 billion in military aid for Israel. So…don't get excited about all that savings we may incur over stopping aid to Ukraine. Israeli Prime Minister thanked the U.S. for giving them the weapons to "finish the job."

Gender Study Confirms What We Already Knew
A new study shows what is a consistent trend: Gender transformation only makes mental health worse. We already knew that gender transformation increased the risk of suicide. A new study shows that surgical sex changes increases the risk of "depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and substance use disorders" than those who do not undergo surgery.
Well…who would have predicted that experimental procedures would make people so uncomfortable? Not do the procedures lead to sterilization and create life-long pharmaceutical patients, they are painful and increase a person's focus on "passing" as another gender. No one should go around the world hyper focused on how others perceive them!
The study, surprisingly, does not suggest that these procedures stop because they are associated with harm. It only suggests that there is a need for "ongoing, gender-sensitive mental health support for transgender individuals’ post-surgery."
