Lead: U.S. Pledges More Weapons and Money to Israel

Israeli airstrikes on gaza credit: al jazeera

The U.S. vowed continued aid to Israel after Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s trip to Tel Aviv on Monday.

Secretary Austin said this: “Let me be clear: our support for Israel’s security remains unshakeable. And it always will be.”

He said that the U.S. will keep pushing for the safe return of hostages in Gaza. He said nothing of the Palestinian hostages that Israel has had for far longer. He did say that “protecting Palestinian civilians in Gaza is both a moral duty and a strategic imperative” but he did not say how he would do that because it has not been happening since Israel’s retaliation for the October 7 terror attack.

He said that he would like to see a “surgical” war. There is no such thing.

Secretary Austin also announced Operation Prosperity Guardian on Monday. It is a military operation in the Red Sea aimed at protecting trade in that region after attacks on commercial shipping by Yemen's Houthis. We covered this war on Monday's episode of Redacted

Could Julian Assange Be Set Free?

credit: bbc

bipartisan resolution in Congress supports freeing Julian Assange. It is not a law. It is a plea to the Biden administration to protect the First Amendment and “drop all charges against and attempts to extradite Julian Assange."

Assange is currently languishing in a high security prison in England where he has been fighting extradition to the United States. He has been charged under the Espionage Act for what is legitimate journalism.

The Australian government has also started to speak on his behalf as he is an Australian citizen. The United Nations Special Rapporteur on torture Nils Melzer has repeatedly spoken out about the horrendous treatment of Assange. On this matter, I suggest his book, "The Trial of Julian Assange.”

The U.S. resolution will force the Biden administration to respond to this as the First Amendment continues to whither and die on his watch. If you are a U.S. voter, tell your congressional representative to pass this resolution and free Julian Assange!

Fed Rate Cuts Are Good News For Gold

ghostbed

Gold and Silver prices jumped last week on news the Fed may be done with rate hikes. That's great news for precious metals.

Bank of America expects gold to hit $3,000 an ounce, and America's largest precious metals company Lear Capital is giving away one ounce of silver for every ounce of gold you buy! They're also giving you $250 in your account. That's free money.

So as the U.S. dollar continues to face massive debt pressure, investors have been pouring back into precious metals. If you have your retirement in a dollar format, then it will continue to lose value every day that it's there in a bank. It's time to move some of your retirement into gold and silver and away from government currencies.

Gold and Silver have sustained for over 4,000 years while every government currency in world history has collapsed. Every one of them. Will this time be any different? Of course not.

Right now, you can get a FREE gold kit and learn how gold and silver can help you protect your family against these central banks. Visit LearRedacted.com right now to get your TOTALLY FREE Gold Kit and start taking action today.

Invasion at America's Souther Border Increases

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has signed off on a law that allows law enforcement to arrest migrants at the Texas border and hand them over to judges to order them out of the U.S.

This is at attempt to curb illegal migration into the U.S. but you can bet that the Biden administration will challenge it in the courts.

The law not only gives authority to law enforcement officials at the border, it also gives them the right to arrest anyone that they suspect of having illegally entered the U.S. throughout Texas. If arrested, they could be charged with a misdemeanor, giving judges the ability to order them deported.

Texas is not waiting for the federal government to solve this problem. The state is working to approve $1.5 billion to fund a border wall and putting in place Operation Lone Star, a program to bar the entry of drugs, weapons and people suspected of criminal activity.

This is in stark contrast to New York City, which is also facing an immigrant crisis but pretending like it isn’t

What's Trending?

Brad Pitt is trending because Monday was his 60th birthday so I guess we have to give you a sexy photo of him, right? Twist my arm.

Alec Baldwin is trending for getting into a heated debate with a pro-Palestine protestor in New York City.

The Pope is trending for approving blessings for same-sex couples. This is not the same as a marriage but a shift in policy aimed at making the Catholic church more inclusive.

Now German Farmers Are Fighting Back

credit: euronews

Thousands of German farmers drove their farm equipment into Berlin to protest a government plan to get rid of tax breaks for diesel. This would present a major cost increase for farmers.

Why are they doing this? To plug a €17 billion Euro hole in the country’s budget. They’ve gotta take it from somewhere so…to the farmers’ bottom line, right?

Germany has pledged to double financial support for Ukraine next year. The government has also allocated €60 billion to "combat climate change and modernize the country."

So wait…they want to combat climate change but support war. Maybe someone should tell them that war is not eco-friendly and that attacking farmers as a first line hasn’t worked out well for other politicians in Europe.
