A new U.S. government report shows that intelligence has not found evidence of “any foreign actor seeking to interfere in the conduct of the 2024 elections.”
This new report comes from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in collaboration with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and the Federal Bureau of Intelligence (FBI.)” It shows that “Russia, Iran, and China are trying by some measure to exacerbate divisions in U.S. society for their own benefit” but not “enable election interference, especially cyber or physical disruptions of election infrastructure.” That means that they may exploit our own news cycle and rile us up about certain topics to influence voters. The U.S. does this too in Arabic-speaking countries. We know this from the Graphika Stanford report on the matter.
China and Iran have expressly denied doing this.
