Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is developing weapons with “new physical principles” to “ensure the security of any country in the near historic perspective.”
What could that mean? Russian news agency TASS says that “such weapons include laser, ultrasonic, radio-frequency arms and others.”
The term “new physical principles” can encompass many things such as directed energy, electromagnetic weapons such as lasers, geophysical weapons, genetic weapons, non-lethal weapons and more. You can use your imagination here and bet that world powers are working on it.
Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday that the U.S. may be okay with Ukraine targeting Russia with U.S. weapons. President Biden promised that they wouldn’t do that but apparently that is now on the table.
