President Trump took a shift at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania this weekend while on the campaign trail. The restaurant had reportedly been closed for the event but he did serve patrons.
He did it partially to troll Kamala Harris for unfounded claims that she worked at McDonald’s when she was in college.
A McDonald’s franchisee released this statement from McDonald’s but the statement has not been verified. It admits that there is no record of Harris working at McDonald’s and Harris has not herself submitted any proof. So who knows? Why would she lie about this? And wouldn’t it be easy to prove since it is such a point of contention? As Vice President, she had to have been vetted at the highest level for security clearances. Why do we have to be left to wonder about this?
The video of President Trump working at the fast food chain has been viewed over 19 million times as of this writing.
