The U.S. will soon announce a final date of its presence in Iraq, according to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.

The Prime Minister said that it no longer needs the U.S.’s help to fight ISIS. The U.S. helped fund ISIS in Syria and then fought them in Iraq so I wouldn’t want their help either.

The exact withdrawal date is said to be announced soon. This comes after the American military confirmed that it has completely withdrawn from Niger.

Does this mean that the U.S. is reducing its military presence abroad? Even though Vice President Harris (falsely) said that there are no active military members in combat zones, President Biden does want to keep troops in Iraq. The State Department has proposed a “bilateral security partnership” and said that “at no point” was the idea of a withdrawal being discussed.
