President Biden promised us that Ukraine would not use the HIMARs that the U.S. sends to attack Russia. On Wednesday, Ukraine basically said, “Oh, we’re doing that.”
The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces confirmed that they have used “US-provided HIMARS rocket systems to target pontoon bridges and engineering equipment in Russia’s Kursk Oblast.”
President Biden said that President Zelensky gave him his word that they wouldn’t do this. In 2022, he said that if Ukraine attacked Russia with U.S. weapons, that would spell out World War III. But Biden isn’t in charge any more, is he? So, World War III it is!
To their credit, Russia has shown restraint in retaliating against the weapons suppliers so far but for how long?
Ukraine has also asked the European Union to extradite Ukrainians who are living in EU countries so that he can send them to war but EU states have unanimously refused to do so.
