If I were a betting person, I’d say it is a run for the White House in 2024.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? If last week’s midterms are any indication, it is not a good thing for Republicans. Trump-backed candidates did not fare very well, and while Republicans did well, it was not the red wave that was predicted.
Former Vice President Mike Pence has said that he thinks that there are better choices for the 2024 presidential race. Himself perhaps? The former VP released a memoir today called “So Help Me God.” The publisher calls the book “the inside story of the Trump administration by its second highest official.”
