Gaza is a “real estate bonanza”! Just like we knew it would be!
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that the Trump administration and the Israeli government were divvying up Gaza real estate for President Trump’s plan.
Smotrich called it a “business plan.” It involves kicking out the Palestinians and putting the territory under U.S. control, replete with U.S. investments.
Smotrich added: “This plan was built by the most professional people there are,” adding that it now sits on U.S. President Donald Trump’s desk. “We are checking how this becomes a real estate bonanza—I’m not joking—and pays for itself.”
Smotrich and other Israeli officials have spoken in similar terms about the West Bank, treating occupied land as a development opportunity for settlements and foreign investment. Gaza, in that view, is simply the next piece of the portfolio.
