The FBI released a text thread from Tyler Robinson, the alleged killer of Charlie Kirk, with his gay lover/roommate. It is…not what I would call convincing.
you weren’t the one who did it right? ??
I am, I’m sorry
These are supposedly between the killer and his gay lover/roommate. ABC News called the text thread “very touching” because the killer calls his lover “my love.”
Ted Bundy was loving and endearing with his victims too before he brutally murdered them. Was that touching?
Prosecutors have formally charged Robinson with murder, although he has not confessed. They say that they had confessed in a note but the note was destroyed. But they have forensics of its existence. Huh?
There is also the narrative about his clothing, which is strange on its own: surveillance shows Robinson in a maroon T-shirt, light shorts, and a black cap before the shooting, but prosecutors say he changed outfits after the attack, only to later put the same maroon shirt and shorts back on by the time he was arrested. That odd cycle—changing to hide evidence, then returning to the original look—doesn’t make much sense, especially since authorities also claim he tried to discard some of the clothes.
The back-and-forth adds another layer of inconsistency to an already puzzling case.
