Israel Says “Oops, I Did It Again”

Israel “accidentally” bombed a refugee camp and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that at least they tried not to.

Israel reportedly hit a tent camp and killed at least 45 people, including women and children. The White House said that it was “heartbreaking” but the attack is Israel’s right. The tent camp has reportedly been designated as a safe zone but Netanyahu said that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) used their “best efforts not to harm those uninvolved” and they will investigate themselves on the matter.

Meanwhile, the Israeli government is working on legislation that would label the UN Aid Agency for Palestinians (UNRWA) as a terrorist organization. This is one of the main sources of aid for the Palestinians but Israel has said that some aid workers assisted in the October 7 massacre, although they have not proven it. The Knesset will vote on a bill to label the organization as terrorists on Wednesday, which will further prevent their work to help suffering civilians.
