Title IX Gets Checked In Court

A federal court has blocked Title IX in the six states that sued to stop it. This is the law that the Biden administration put into place to destroy women’s rights in education.

The states are Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The court issued a temporary restraining order while these states litigate agaisnt this federal mandate. The order begins thus: “There are two sexes: male and female.” It’s pretty amazing that this must be said in the year 2024. The opinion argues that women do have a right to the “remedy [of their] historical inequity.”

If this is indicative of where this ruling is going, the Biden administration will have an uphill battle trying to re-instate its version of Title IX. A spokesperson told the Epoch Times this: “The Department crafted the final Title IX regulations following a rigorous process to realize the Title IX statutory guarantee. The Department stands by the final Title IX regulations released in April 2024, and we will continue to fight for every student.”
